Good feeling isn't it? Not having to depend on a pizza wheel to get you home...

Started setting up gears in the D44 last night. Got the gears in, playing with the air line for the ARB was a little tricky. Got a perfect pattern on the first go but the backlash needs adjusting. Finishing tonight hopefully. 30 spline chromo came in to replace the snapped one in the drivers side, new outer seals should be in today. Once those are in I can swap the whole axle in and will finally have 4wd again!!

Mine still work, they just grind and screech a bit. Actually the inside of the drum and the shoes still have a little life left in them. No point in servicing them--I'm upgrading them by removing them entirely and putting ZJ discs in

Well, last night I welded my door hinge back on to the body and welded a new muffler on. It makes me happy.

lol, i wouldn't have run that tard spare unless my life depended on it. In fact i scrapped it long ago.

Then my friend got stranded at school when he busted a tire stem (Old Scottsdale, no surprise there). That made me think.
