Removed and cleaned the NSS today. Now she starts everytime. Took her for a ride on the mountain as a reward on this beautiful day.

Quote: they are home made, and work just like the stock foot well lights. i bought the t10 sockets and bulbs online (only took 3 months to get the sockets, but thats why i bought extras!) since they draw such a small amount of power i piggybacked into the overhead light plug at the pass fusebox (using some metal clips from a previous project, pink is the power wire fyi) and ran the wires across to the drivers side. the mounts are just scrap plastic from an xj i parted out a few years back with a few holes drilled in and screwed into the stock foot well light mounting points. from what i understand the pre update xj's have the wiring in place (i couldnt find it in my 01) and all they need is the light and socket to work. let me know if you need any help.
TY. And for the offer to help (I might take you up on that ...I very much want these, and my wife will too).

I got half of my lift on today, going to finish up the rear tomorrow. I am having a hell of a time getting the leaf spring bolts out. I gave up for today and I got a bigger breaker bar and propane for my torch if needed. I also painted my steel wheels. Pics to come tomorrow when I am finished.

Might as well end the night with a pb blast bath on those bolts and into the bushings too if possible. Get a torch to if needed. Good luck

Took my intake to work and dropped it in the vat for 3 hours. Came out looking brand new. Now I need to prep all the gasket mating surfaces and replace the oil filter adapter oring.

Quote: lol, i changed the spark plugs and gave it a full tank of gas yesterday along with some MMO, then the heater valve cracked open and i cut myself twice fixing that. Still dunno what the mystery fluid on my floor is, either my washer fluid or coolant, both are orange.
Smell it?

Tune up: plugs, wires, rotor/cap and oil change. Had to replace bottom radiator hose and fan clutch. Also fixed a vacuum hose that had a hole- now my heater works too, not just the defroster! Will change out the thermostat tomorrow along with front o2 sensor and clean the K&N air filter. Until I bought my Jeep last year the most that I had ever done to an auto was oil, plugs and brakes. If I have a problem I come to this forum so I just want to thank everyone on here for the advice/ how to's and ideas!

Center pin or u bolts?
Who'da thunk. My 3" aluminum blocks wouldn't hold up so good on a rock pile. Prob the center pins but I twisted my u-joint straps off also, so can't really tell

Ouch. Looks like you have a lot more rocks than we have around here. Not hard to do since we have none in this area at all. Now that I looked again that looks like busted up concrete.
Ya its just a pile of rubble @ the West Palm Beach FL, 4wp
