Took apart both wheels to change the hubs and waited 4 hours for my mechanic neighbor to let me borrow his torque wrench and axle socket only to have him never show up. Now i gotta take my dads minivan to school tomorrow as the cherokee is on stands

All Jeeps have ****ty wiring. My '01 was no better than my '88 Renix Comanche, and Wranglers are just as bad.
Even my dads 09 jk has a sort that triggers the air bag light to come on. Flashing it with our superchips tuner shuts it off everytime so we live with it.

I don't trust JKs. With Jeep's notoriously bad wiring, I don't want electronic lockers, electronic sway bar disconnect, electronic brakes, etc. That, and JK owners tend to think everyone is jealous of their Jeep. You could give me one, and I'd sell it to build my MJ.

Quote: Wiring between deck and hatch is screwed up some where. I have sony tweeters with crossovers and pioneer speakers up front that I have ran new wires to from deck and they sound good right now. Plus I got a switch to cut power to amp in case a cop drives by so I didn't want all my speakers to shutoff.
Why do you need to cut power if a cop drives by???? A 500watt stereo isnt that loud. Must be location, here in phx,az the smallest stereo most people run is above 1000watts with no police issues.

Added some power steering fluid. Tightened the belt a little too.

My buddy got a ticket for loud music with a 500 watt crappy amp.

Weird. Must be the local laws. We have systems here that can shakr houses half a mile away and those guys still get no tickets. They look more for the removed exhaust and cat here than stereos.

Quote: Huh? Pics?
Screwed it up though, hole in the firewall needed to be an inch to the left. Cut it using a 1/2 inch drill bit then did my best possible with a sawzaw. Forgot to take pics when the cowl grill was off. Used a K&N 3130 cone filter.

Just need to get a few clamps to be safe, the rubber fittings seem to be holding fine.

What tube did you end up using that runs across the VC? I've been looking at the spectre inline filters but can justify spending $130

Used a ChromeIntakes filter set i got off eBay, which just had a knockoff K&N filter that sat where the OEM air box used to be. Turned it around and bought flex tube at a parts store. There are cheaper ways, but i wasn't planing on the cowl mod when i got that intake.

Mounting hardware for that^ was ****ty and it just sucked in hot air from the radiator.

Swapped a drivers side front shaft cause the u joint was seized and changed the wheel bearing on the same side. Before that I drove it to pick up a 4.88 geared and locked Ford 8.8!!
