Yes its water tight. Its silicon'd up. Not anymore pics at the moment. Yes its screwed up through the pinch seam with self tappers. Don't hate duke! Lol its lexan so its good.
Yes it is a '99. I just used the jumper method in the connector down in the driver side kick panel. There is a thread here with detailed info. of this fix. Should be easy to find.

That's sad. But there are people that would rather pay the money than do it themselves. A buddy of mine is that way all of his vehicles. I tell him all the time that we can do it ourselves for a lot less, but he just doesn't want to mess with it.

I've read the jump method but I got a 2yo who's talking a liking to all the switches. I'd like to keep the child lock somehow. Thanks though.
Might have to breakdown and buy a new switch. $65 is the cheapest I've seem though.
