Yesterday I changed the exhaust manifold. Not as bad as i thought, but the intake and throttle body were very dirty/oily so it took an extra hour or two to clean those up. Took about 6 hours overall. I should have changed the motor mounts, but my other car had a flat tire so i couldn't get to the parts store
That will have to wait for another day. Oh and a week ago I flushed the cooling system and installed new thermostat and valve cover gaskets. WOOO MAINTENANCE

Replaced the IAC solenoid. Then installed my VHF/UHF radio. Funtimes running 10ga wire from the battery to the radio then the Cat6 for the microphone extension.

Decided after watching a wrongler Rubicon run a trail I couldnt get through (and had to back down, which almost flipped me) im fed up. Im parking her tonight, ripping my axles off, and buying a wagoneer for axles. Then its time to draw and fab a four link for the rear.
Now the hard part. I gotta buy a truck and a trailer. Im sick of driving 6 hours to the trail, then having to make sure I dont break so I can drive her home. Its time to thrash and not stress about the trip home.

Dirt road. Wasn't even doing anything crazy, but I came around the corner face to face with a deer. Should've ran the bastard over...

Yesterday i spent 25 minutes with a pressure washer removing the mud from Rausch ( body, under and engine bay) today i changed oil/filter and washed the air filter and intake tube. I had mud in the throttle bore, should i be scared?
