Hmmm, 8" short arm lift and 33"s?

You REALLY need some drop brackets or long arms.

Nothing exiting, XJ is currently in getting the rear windows tinted. Found out that (UK) police are stopping drivers with the windscreen tinted and side windows (driver, pass) so it's just the back for now. I think you can get away with up to 70% on the front but... my main reasons are just to hide my tools and things in the back so this should be fine. $220 (£140) most quotes were a third more.

On Sunday I'm getting it up on bricks and I'm treating all the surface rust underneath, my father has been throwing tips around for keeping it back, I really have to start listening more and write things down. For some reason because it's my Dad I'm like 'yea ok Dad sure uh huh', only to then realize he was right on the money.

I just put $25 in my 98 Grand Cherokee and brought it up to 1/2 tank. $25 in my 97 Ford hi-top conversion van barely moves the needle, it's got a 36 gal tank.

Some places will do it, some wont touch it if its not stock (I tried). It gets even worse with long arms. I am in the same boat. I need someplace that knows lifts and all that has to happen. I found someplace that specializes just no $$$ right now

Yep, add long arms and aftermarket steering and they either run scared of try and rape you. Do it at home. the more you do it the more comfortable you will be. Its really not hard at all

Worst case buy a monkey wrench and a big cheeter bar. You own a cherokee so hopefully ypu have a torch, that helps soooooo much
