Bought the Jeep on Monday and I'm working out the bugs from the previous owner. Today I got my dash lights working (fuse), replaced another blown fuse for the airbags, tore off the stupid plastic window visors from all four windows, replaced the factory antenna with one that I found that looks like a fishing rod, tore the stickers and fabric off the flip down visors and filled up the gas tank.

I went wheelin' in the rain. Checked out the tree stands. Getting to them is a lot of wonderful maneuvering thru the creek and weaving in the woods. Lotsa fun!

I knew someone would mention that .

I just placed it there. Shortly after taking the picture I secured it behind the toolbox.

^^ . It WAS a good call. Ive "placed" things before, then gotten sidetracked by a new door ding or something...next thing you know your cell phone is flying off the roof of your 1968 Buick Wildcat. Apparently that happens at 50 mph w the vinyl roof, lol

Think tomorrow Im gonna do my alignment, lift up the rear end and see if it has limited slip (ive been noticing it leaves posi marks in the driveway. lol), see if I can find my vacuum leak, wash it, pull the 97 temp sender out of my thermostat housing and replace it with a NPT plug, change plugs, and maybe if Im feeling ambitious Ill relocate my vacuum ball. Then if its still light out maybe Ill go for a little ride, or a walk.
How much of that will actually get done? I dont know...
Only got the plugs and wash so far... lol
Did buy the NPT plug, just waiting for it to cool down.
Sprayed carb cleaner on the intake manifold and vacuum lines, didnt notice any change in idle.
Ordered a mech. fan shroud from "Mostly Mopower" down the road, 25 bucks. Hope they ordered the right part...

I have crap building up in my overflow bottle... Antifreeze looks good, oil looks fine, no smells or anything... WTF.

Is that because it's not an HO motor? I've had the two wires pulled out in mine and it wouldn't start.
