finally got some new much needed rough country nitro shocks and a stabilizer got them put on a few hours ago rides alot better cant wait to break them in a the trails.

 

Is it bad that I had a random guy walk up to me when I was getting in my jeep and says

Him-ya I have a jeep (as he points at a stock library) what do think I'll need to get to make it as capable as yours
Me-hahahaha sell it and buy a real jeep!

And when I drove away I didn't feel bad at all

 

Well, at least it's still got a 4.0... Except this one has the pistons arranged a little differently... But I understand, no love.

 

lubed up the drive shaft and slip yoke.

 

So far I fixed the washer tube for the rear window along with a new wiper blade.

Had my CEL checked at azone real fast. P0456 for the past month the purge valve has been ticking like crazy so now I get to have a blast and work on her

 

This is what i did today

 

Ran her to school for SAT test then cookout shopping for chili cook off tomorrow. Been having a high idle issue. What do y'allthink?

I ordered my Iron Rock Offroad hack n tap SYE with drive shaft today.

 

not normal... check your vaccume lines and your sensors on the throttlebody. IAC may need cleaned too, dont use brake cleaner lol.


and im still waiting for my spare head to get rebuilt... BTW guys i didnt blow my head gasket, i warped my head to a rediculous amount, and opened up the old crack too. FML

 

Took off my Christmas lights today from the roof rack











Also started running 6 gauge wire from my inverter to the battery. Just gotta do the terminations and will post pics at that point.

Also looked around for an evap leak that's popping my CEL. I'm thinking of replacing the purge valve and taking it from there

 

Took my front brakes apart yesterday and cleaned them, found that one of the caliper bolts had snapped off
No idea how long its been like that
