Nice! I think I'm going to do something similar with some flat bar and Quick Fist clamps

Spent the day trying to decide which lift to buy since I need new rear springs and decided to buy a snorkel.

If you put a short extension into one of the bolt holes, and place it so that when you turn the wheel the extension pushes on the hub, you can use your steering rack to your advantage.

Careful. This will likely ruin the threads of the old hub when the extension presses against it.

Worked for me several times

Default bought this

this was actually a few days ago, but first time i've been able to get on here. bought myself this jeep, although technically i had nothing to do with it besides finding it online and sending my dad $$. long story short, i found it, asked him to look at it, and he made the decision to buy it. 1998 2dr sport 5spd 4x4 with 3" lift, winch bumper and rollers but no winch, and stock tires. i get back from being deployed this summer, so now i can spend some time researching and ordering parts to build it up. i have tons of ideas but it will be about 6 months before i even see it...

NICE FIND! Sweet combo, 2dr 5-speed's are pretty hard to find. I have a 96 2 door 5speed all stock w 147000 mi. in my sights wight now. Spotted it sitting beside a house, but the owner "doesnt need the money" so it's gonna take some work, but I WILL make it mine
Also, Welcome to the forum. More useful(and useless!) info here than you could ever need. I learned more reading through the threads than i did in 2 years of working on the GF's 93.

had to replace my sway bar link bushings. I only replaced them about two months ago but I think I tightened them too much and they slowly split.

hopefully its all good then

Replaced the tan rear seat with a grey one from the JY and washed the oil off the floor mats.

Why did I do that? Because the other day I was bringing home a 4.2 short block for my 4.7 stroker project, when suddenly a wild red light appeared out of no where. I hit the brakes and the block flopped over and slammed into the back of the driver seat (rear seat was down). Before I could get out and tip it back over, the block had already emptied it's nasty black oil all over the back seat and cargo area. It looked like it could have been the original 1976 oil that it left the factory with by the color and smell of it.

I was already planning on swapping the interior from tan to grey anyway. This little mishap just gave me a bit more incentive to start that project earlier than I had planned.
