I started the kee this morn and the engine light was on. Not normal. I got to gas station and put a some gas in her and started it back up. No light??? Now for the weird part, after the second start it has never ran better. Pulls very hard and normally it has some trouble going 75 in 5th with the 3in lift 31x13.50 boggers and ...3.42 gears :-( today it hauled a$$ maintained speed and had umf past that speed. Is this weird or is the kee a moody machine?

 

They are very finicky and particular vehicles. Where ever you got gas from she liked it. I'd recommend making that your regular gas station from now on. lol

 

Yep they seem to be pretty picky beasts. Mine runs different day to day depending on weather, temperature etc etc. It even runs different between starts during the same day.

My question is how do you have 3.42 gears? I have never even heard of that ratio being offered.

 

True words, mine is like a rock, day to day, gas tank to gas tank, no matter what I feed it or what it's like outside, it is always it's same reliable powerful self.

But even truer words, when I go mudding or beat on my hard on the trail, there is always some new noise or rattle or smell, haha.

 

sometimes the gas cap will set the check engine light.

 

I'm in the same boat all the way haha

 

My 2000 likes showing the check engine light too. It will stay on for the duration of the drive, then when i shut it off and start it again it'll be gone. I just don't worry about it.
