My first Cherokee, so I'm clueless. LOL Haven't busted out the Haynes manual to check.

For those of you advocating a lift....how bad an idea would it be to get the rear leaf springs I need for a 1.5" lift and put them on now, then add the stuff I need up front later?

 

Not that bad, and you could always just throw some coil spacers on to level it out. Cheap and easy

 

x2. It wouldn't be too bad, especially if you put some weight in the back. Coil spacers are real easy to install later on.

 

Took the Jeep to the mechanic this morning. He checks out front and rear suspension, tie rods, shackles (wth are those anyway??) and says all is okay. I mean really.....the dude should be motivated to sell me parts, right? So I don't know what to think.

I am gonna get those leaf springs anyway though. Quadratec will let me piece out the components of the OME 1.5" ift kit.
