Hey I'm in the process of taking my country pinstripe off cause ts wore out and doesn't match anymore but ve scratched the paint and I'm not very far. So I was thinking I could sand it down. Prime it and paint it. My question is which color would go best? Red or black? My diff covers and everything are red and the rest of the jeep is black and green. Here's pics

If ya paint over the stripe then youll still see it. Sanding doesnt really work either. it brings ya down to bare metal and youll see that also. Dont be lazy. Get a hair dryer/heat gun and get to work.

Sanding worked. It doesn't show it's a nice paint job really but it turned out like crap.
