I have the ones that stick to the molding, not the paint. Mine is a 2000. When I get a chance to run outside I'll take a pic and figure out the maker.

@SeriousOffroad, can you confirm that these fit in the window channel? Thanks

Thanks for the info...I might have to look into getting a set of these and modding them to fit in the channel. It's a shame that none can be found that way...

Didnt read all of this but..

I found some at the junkyard on a 94, picked em up for $10. After some cleaning they look great ony 00. I normaly dont like the style that adhears to the body. My old tacoma had them and they wear ugly (po installed). On cherokees the black trim on the windows helps hide how they are attached.

I have some Ventshades too. They stick to the window trim, NOT the paint. Never seen ones that stick to the point. Theyre OK, but honestly, they don't really serve a purpose. And they make your blindspot on the A-pillar HUGE! Now that Im thinking about it, I don't really care for mine.

WeatherTech advertises that all of their ventshades are in-channel. But dang, they are a bit too pricey for me...
I put Weathertech Ventvisors on my car and love them. Their made and have an outlet store near by me. I have a 2dr XJ and they only make them for the 4dr.

If anyone has the Weathertecs, I'd love to see some pics or hear about them! If that's really the only option, then I might bite the bullet one day. I loved the visors on my Ranger.

I saw some at the junk yard for a grand...pulled them off..then decided forget it...kept the cargo net-- and spare tire cover so I could swap mine which doesn't have the pocket. Finally will get some of the junk rolling around in back tucked away without adding another bag or crate or some other junk in the back.

So here's a mystery one of you may have the answer to..

I would like to get some vent shades / visor vents for my 2001 XJ Limited, but AVS says they are not Limited compatible! how can that be? is it because of the folding mirrors?

Look just under the PDF file link that says Installation Instructions:
http://www.quadratec.com/products/71063_800_07.htm

I'll be contacting them Monday, but anyone know the answer from personal experience?

Thanks
