Default vaccum container

Just installed my new bumper and winch yesterday. On the passenger side of the stock bumber was a vaccum container and I noticed that a couple of the vaccum lines were broken but it doesn't seem to affect the engine at all. What does it go to and is it necessary? Got it tucked up inside fender for now but would like it gone if it can be taken out.

Not much room under the hood of these(stock)XJ's. I've got a K&N system on mine so I mounted my reservoir under it. Also have both horns, one on each inner fender,in there. Been trying to figure out a place for a remote oil filter system but don't believe it's going to happen.

Yep.. vacuum supply for hvac and overdrive, if you have it. Anywhere you can find room to relocate it will work. I believe the vacuum port is on the top of the intake manifold near the firewall. If you end up not using it, you might plug that port

I mounted mine between the battery and PDC box. Works if you don't have cruise control.

I've got a '91, non-abs with the window washer on the drivers side. I relocated mine to the passenger side in front of the blower motor.

Also relocated mine under the coolant reservoir. Much easier to service if need be.

Relocated mine to right in front of the A/C works / near the blower motor. Don't have a pic handy but it works fine w/ stock lines. Nothing else fancy under the hood.

Don't really need CC so might just make one out of PVC for the ac controls
