Default Under-Dash Leds: Cool or Stupid?

So my dad put some cheap red LED light strips under the dash in his 2011 Kia Sportage to add some style and some functionality (you can see your feet haha)...Imo, this looks good in his and other new vehicles...What would your opinions be about doing these in an XJ (my passenger footwell light went out and it got me thinking)...Is the XJ too tough, boxy, or old to do this? Just in the front I was thinking of doing blue LEDs to match my new head unit and all-white (xj classic) Jeep (going for a blue, white, and black "icy" kind of theme)...Just need some opinions...

I have blue LED's in my footwells because I don't like it pitch dark in the cab at night.

Never cared if anyone thinks it's stupid or not.

Yeah I'm glad I don't really have to deal with "traffic," if you're talking about like slow-moving jams and stuff. I'd never even seen a 3-lane highway before I was in like 7th or 8th grade.

I think this is a generational thing. The oldies are gonna scream stupid and the kids are gonna be all, like, "EPIC!". I did have blue lights under the dash in my Civic but that was 25 years ago, lol. I would put white lights under my dash that were controlled by the interior lights but not colors. I'm just too old for that. It's not a limo, it's not a club, it's a Jeep... that's my reasoning.

x2. I've considered putting whites under the dash that come on with the dome light. Utility, not rice...
