^^^ I have to agree with Jack on this, and I'm not even old, I'm 20! White could look nice, but to me, it would have to be a more subdued light. Not eye blinding bright when you flip them on to find whatever you dropped at night.

Get blue LEDs for your cluster, hvac, and switches. You'll love it.

I am a really big fan of "6K" white LED light.. I have upgraded my trucks lighting with it... looks GREAT

But im 30... I remember when we wanted to put neon lights that flickered with our bass in our cars... oh my god.. gay

My generation was the last in my area to do the whole car modding / street racing / night cruising on the town strip... the bowling alleys and skating rings have shut down..

I dont even see young kids out anymore.. I think they are all home smoking pot and playing xbox.. seriously..

off topic sorry

Lol Hey, no need to apologize. To be honest, I feel bad for my own generation since what you said about pot and Xbox is all completely true! Well, aside from me....I've got better things to do then sit on my butt all day, light a doobie and be racist on the internet

I wish I could've been around back in the day when all the gaming stuff didn't exist, like the 50's or 60's. I can only imagine how much better things were....

I know.. Post WW2 just sounds so much better to me than this crap

I had a kid at work.. hes 18.. come into my office and tell me this girl "kicked" him.... i was like... HUH?

He showed me an APP on his iphone called kick... told me he had her on instagram and snapchat or some ****, and added her to kick, some kind of messenger..

I just laughed... told him they should make an app called "****"

He didn't get it..

I installed a set of cheap Walmart "white" LED strips a few months ago. I prefer them over the old bulbs.

I am a huge fan of LEDs...that being said, I am pretty picky about their implementation. It has to be professional. I typically see blue LEDs as a ricer color...but some shots of it that i've seen you guys do actually look good. Personally, blue isn't for me for the interior. I have done interior LED conversions on both my Jeep and my daily driver. My reasoning is not only do they look super-cool when installed properly, but they consume much less power. I'm a big fan of being conservative on power with my vehicles, and all those incandescent bulbs add up.

Since these photos I've removed all carpet and it doesn't appear nearly as bright! Still bright as heck, though.

I agree. Green is probably my favorite interior color. My car is outfitted with green LEDs. I added a strip of white to make it a light green to go with my instrument cluster. My car has a factory auto-dim when you shut the doors, and the LEDs are awesome with it. I love this setup!

To anyone doing LEDs or interested in it, I would encourage you to do your research and ask questions, and also know that eBay is your friend--but can also be your enemy. Understand the different output angles and lumen output, and how color temperatures and even how your own eyes work in regards to light temperature at night. Spend some time on SuperBrightLeds and just browse around. They have great quality stuff. My instrument cluster lights, shifter, and license plate all came from eBay for great prices, though.

I don't think we have to go back that far, I just miss the days when everyone didn't walk around with their phone in their face 24/7.
