i dunno, some people carry around stuff like tools, spare parts, full size spare, air pump, stuff like that. the rear seat won't take out enough weight to make a difference, so i would just leave it.

I figured on my last fill up I got 19 mpg and that's even with the A/C on a couple times during the tank.
Pretty decent for it being an auto.

i'd estimate a full size spare (stock tire size, steel wheel) weighs about, what 50 lbs? you may not see a gain from taking it out, but for me i'd rather have a donut spare or the full size spare over nothing. its not worth being stuck on the side of the road over .5 mpg gain

I really don't understand how stockers are getting less then 15mpg
look at my rig;
I get 14-15mpg sittin' on 6" of lift, 33's and a roof rack, it just doesn't add up..

stock 3:55 (saving up for 4:56 now ), i use a GPS to gauge miles and such, its a mix 40% stop and go traffic, 55% highway and 5% city driving. I get about 260-270miles to a tank. My commute is quite long, about 40-45miles a day for work alone...

yeah, i would question those numbers myself, unless you really drive conservatively, i just can't see it adding up. i guess the combined driving helps, i get about 15 combined but I'm on 29s, 4.10s, aw4, and my junk weights 4100 lbs. i also have engine mods which seem to have helped some but i don't always drive conservatively, so maybe thats why i don't get very good mpgz
