Great artical. Just wish jeep had some more sense in them to build like they used to....I'll stick with my 98/99 before I ever think about buying a new one.

whats sad is there is still a market for the XJs just the damn yupies want their cushy rides and all these electronics. bring back a KISS (keep it simple stupid) XJ they way AMC did back in 84 and they world would be a better place.

Yeah Chrysler needs to do a tribute Cherokee like an off road machine like the ford raptor. (im not a ford guy but that thing is sweet) The Cherokee is one of the greatest vehicles made. It's crazy they quit making them in 01 and they are still quite expensive and there is still so many on the roads. I really do think they need to do a tribute Cherokee.

Btw that article is awesome.

Maybe a Cherokee rubicon? 4" lift, elec. lockers, elec. disconnecting sway bars?

I say they mix the cherokee with the lower 40. Ever heard of it?
