Input or output seal? Any reason you'd consider rebuilding the Tcase?
If its just the output seal leaking, a no brainer. replace it.
Use a new Mopar seal and a new Mopar slinger too.
Hey that reminds me of an old thread of mine where i need to post a follow up.

Between the transmission and transfer case. Also with other things I've had experience with, I end up replacing one new part to having to replace other corresponding parts/seals.

If its the front input seal, then thats gonna be a semi major project at best.
The Tcase has to be pulled. It also could be the tranny seal leaking.
If you're gonna have a shop do the work and have the money or DIY, thats a good time to freshen up the Tcase.
I had a shop rebuild mine when i had my differential rebuilt.
The reason i did the Tcase rebuild was it had 290,000 miles on it.

I know if one seal is leaking it's a matter of time before the next. If I have to drop it, may as well do anything I can. I diagnose my jeep myself, fix it myself. It's not my toy, it's my work vehicle and my baby. And for the record I'm a woman.
Understood, and I was just having a little fun. That said, rebuild it then and remember to install new range fork pads to help with smooth shifts.
