Default Tires to Big?

Well my rims came in this week. I got a killer deal on a set of cragar soft 8s with 4.5in back spacing. I have been trying to decide between a set of 31s or 33s. A local shop in town has a killer deal on a set of bfg a/t's in 31x13.5. I guess what i want to know, is will tires 13.5in wide be too wide to run with my 15x8 wheels that have 4.5in backspacing? Now, im not talking about having to fender trim or anything, what i mean is will i have issue with hitting the control arms or the tires be to wide in the rear and rub the leafs? thanks for the help guys

A 13.5 wide tire on a rim with 4.5 backspacing WILL RUB on the Lower Control Arms when turning and if they don't rub the rear leafs I bet you wouldn't even be able to slip a sheet of paper in between. I'm runnin a 12.5 wide tire with 4" backspacing and I have about an inch between the tires and rear springs and I still get a tiny bit of rubbage on the LCAs at full turn. So, for a 13.5 inch wide tire I would recommend a rim with 3-3.5 inch backspacing or you will need to get wheel spacers.

They look a hair too wide for their diameter.
