Keep in mind these tires are a serious off-road tire. I can't say how long they will last. I have heard anywhere from 20-40 thousand. If I get 20 that's fine by me. For the off-road performance its worth it.

The other tires are nice and probably last longer because they are a more street oriented tire.

I was looking for very aggressive without poor road manners. Federals fit this bill.

I have had mtz's, truxus, bfg. And all of them dissapointed me off road.

Bottom line is if the federals wont get you there, nothing else will either. TSL's, boggers, km2's, none of these perform as well on trails as the federals for an all around tire.

And damn if these things don't hold an incredible bead! Running very low tire pressure I have yet to even burp them in the rocks.

Excellent points. But yeah of I get 20-40k out of them I'll be happy. Especially at that price.

Federals or Generals? Either way, I hope you enjoy your choice!

I was looking at the getting some General grabber at2s, so I happen to see that walmart was able to order them. I know a lot don't like the walmart auto, but a set mounted and balanced was about 715 or so. Going to them saves some money.

The left is deff the worst of the 4 old ones, the left is my newb.. After 3 years straight and ~52k miles I was happy to get another set. Mud, snow, sand, rocks.. For an AT tire these things are badass.

yeah I was looking at the Generals, but like I said I got those Federals for 658, after shipping. Couldn't turn down a deal like that.

Those look like a great AT! Round where I live though you got to have diggers to get anywhere.

They're great. It's like a hybrid between an all-terrain tire and a mud terrain tire. The part of the tire where the most stress is on is the all-terrain part, which is why it lasts so long; however, when you get on trails and stuff, the more aggressive outer sides grip into the ground really well.

I have the 33" version of these tires on my Jeep and I'm really satisfied with these made in the USA tires!
