I live in Maine. No limit on back windows I don't think. The way the front works is that the limit is 35% and you need a certificate to show that that is how much light is let through. Many tint shops give this certificate when they install. On the windshield, tint can go from the top down to the as-1 line, which should be in your upper left hand corner while sitting in the jeep.

wow they are really that strict? here in WA i have had 20% on all my cars and i have only been messed with 1 time about it. they just told me to fix it and sent me on

Yeah, well we live in a state where it's technically illegal to "modify (a motorcycle) in a way which results in operation louder than stock." Something like that. Basically, it is technically illegal to have a louder than stock motorcycle here, but nobody really gets pulled over for it. I just hate the fender flare laws cause I like the tires to poke out a little but don't want to spend the $400-500 for new fender flares haha

The leading cause of window film turning purple and bubbling is using Windex, or anything with ammonia in it to clean the windows.
