Default Time to do the brakes!

What are a good set of pads to upgrade my stopping power?

Any recomedations? I just might buy some new blanks for the front too.

Get whatever you can afford. I always get new rotors. Please remember to do a GOOD break in of the new brakes so they will work correctly.

Anybody aware of a vendor for other brake components like a master cylinder and calipers?

Got the "Premium" stuff from Autozone. Simple, cheap, does the job right. Good warranty with premium, lifetime on the pads. So I can go and get free replacement bads if I bring old ones in. I think same goes for Advanced Auto Parts and similar places.

We aren't exactly racing or drifting our XJs, so I don't think performance stuff really matters.

Wagner ceramics. Good/ lasting pads, and quiet when used properly with the little clip on anti squeal spacers they come with
