If it was done right, it should be tough enough to not chip if you hit something. Have you tried hitting it with something?? I hit a big cement block (on purpose) when I was parking at the Dollar Store. They have those because someone got confused with the brake and gas pedal and slammed into the store. lol There was some cement residue on the bumper, but it went away after washing the Jeep. I even hit a big metal post (again on purpose) when I was parking, and it didn't do anything.

P.S.: I don't even have the dupli-color Bed Armor on my bumper, just the cheapo bed liner stuff (can) they sell at Canadian tire. I will do one coat with it before winter though.

I used the same thing on my "new" wheels. I hope it will hold thru next winter, we'll see.

Any issues when the tires were put on and balanced? Scratching or chips? I am trying to decide if I want to paint before or after the tires go on the wheels.

the guys at the tire shop put all the weights on the inside of the rims, and when they installed the tires, they said they were impressed on how they didnt even leave a scratch on them.

The only issue I got when I got the tires mounted, was that some paint came off on the lip of one rim.....but that was because I didn't wait long enough for that wheel to dry. The others didn't get scratched or chipped. The guy was very careful with them too.
