I guess you have to drive one, or driven one, to respect an xj. I guess cause it looks light weight ppl don't wanna Take it seriously. Hence why I love to tell ppl "it's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand"

 

I was drivin next to a ford on 44s with an insane amount of lift, when we came up to a light SHE yelled down "hey those tires are cute" I said " my jeep can do waaay more then your bogger so have fun doing nothing"

 

People like that are everywhere. Ha ill pick my straight axle little Jeep over any ifs truck.

I get this all the time. I usually tell them I won't, but then follow it with something like... Yeah, next time, we're going for tire side up. They freak and go ride with someone else. Gotta love it.

Lol, I watch my Temperature Gauge more than I watch the road. (Kidding. It's close though, seriously.) 3 seconds of road, .5 second speedo check, .5 second temp check, repeat for the whole drive.

 

i just got my 87 xj and when my boss saw it he said "oh i thought you got a JEEP-jeep" i asked him- "you mean a wrongler" he replied- "aren't they called wranglers?" haha.

Then when he looked inside he said "how many times has this been stolen?!" i laughed and told him i was working on it...
