me: long discussion (im the only one talking) about how just because a vehicle is 18 yrs old does NOT mean that it is a pile of junk. We will just say she got after 15 min. and decided to walk away.

I called Miller's Salvage today to see about an A/C Clutch and the first thing she asked me was, and I quote:

"What Kind of Cherokee is it?"

"An XJ."

"So it's A Classic or is it a Grand?"

 

I got asked by the guy at the salvage yard I called a week or so ago if my Cherokee was a Sport (I think, or something like this, maybe "regular") or a Laredo! I just quietly put my face in my palm and after a moment said, "regular Cherokee." I mean really? A Laredo isn't even it's own model vehicle, it's a trim package on a Grand Cherokee, separate from my "regular" Cherokee.

I've grown an extreme hatred for burners and they are always old and beat up looking. At least our xjs are capable and nice lookin

You know that they made XJ Laredos right? They were made from the early 80s all the way up to 92. I own one.

 

its funny how with modern GC they have the limited, laredo and overlander package. Even in the early 2000s did they ever carry over a classic, sport or any other xxj models
