I have my Jeep for fun. The military equipment is work lol.. Had my share of fun with Humvees in Germany, though. We had to put 50 miles on them every Monday for PMCS, and the Germans weren't gonna try to stop us.

- my dad every time he's sees the jeep
"why don't you ever stop fixing that peace and get something nice?"

- my mom to my buddy's XJ "hey I'm can you park further down the street you keep leving oil pots everywhere."

Great thread keep it going

But the USMC M1009 Chevy's have Detroit's and Dana's and Detroit lockers with manual hubs up front. My friend had no issues getting his going and it keeps going. But yes I have heard tons of crap about humvees from my bro. Cuz uncle Sam over weighs em, they sag and components break every time they move them over in Afg.

I got told that by someone with a damn Patriot, told em' real Jeeps have solid axles, and don't need a "trail-rated" badge to tell me they can flex on a speedbump.
