oh there was a thread about this. I cant remember the specifics but it was like your leaks drip down and rest at the RMS giving the illusion of a rear main seal leak, but in actuality it was something else leaking. let me see if I can find it really quick

Thanks man. I'm 99% sure it's the seal. There is effing oil everywhere underneath and even on the hatch.

There goes some grad money...

Or power wash everything off and run your jeep for a day or two........then pin point where it is really coming from. Im betting oil filter adapter o-rings......

it could be a couple things. check the oil filter adapter and the valve cover gasket first. if theres fresh oil in those areas replace those first and see if the problem goes away. basically, try to avoid doing the rear main seal because the job sucks
