You texted his cell phone at what time and how many times did you text him? Put yourself in his position. Based on the fact that you made a thread about it this soon and have a ****ty attitude and texted his cellphone (likely multiple times), I'd tell you to get ****ed if I was him.

You sir are are an *******, I texed him on Wednesday morning at about 8 am at 4pm I texed him again and said anything? Than I texed him yesterday just looking for a timeframe. If you think I'm a bad customer that's fine and I'm shure my money will be happily received elsewhere. I'm not only paying for a product I'm also paying for custemer service.

Baced off your statements you don't understand what good service is. If you do run a business I'm shure you do a horrible job.

I don't run a business. And I don't have any desire to because of crap like this.
Why don't you just try calling during business hours to the business phone, not his cell phone and see what they say. Maybe he fat fingered the number when he gave it to you. Who knows. I give people the benefit of the doubt. Or since you already filed with paypal, let it go and go somewhere else. Maybe the next place you order can get your "made to order" bumper to your door in 5 business days and text you hourly updates and status pics.

IB4 another thread and another and another just like this until you end up actually waiting 6mo for a bumper because you keep cancelling your orders.

It's interesting to me that when people post and ask what others think and they don't get the agreement they are looking for they get upset. Makes no sense to me. If you post something asking what others think there should be no reason to get upset no matter what anyone says. It's what was asked for.

He replied one time from that number. I was not texting him an excessive amount of times. Like I said a simple replie would have done just fine. I feel like the guy was not taking me seriously. When we were coming up with the bumper design I was after he was very enthusiastic with good communication. After I paid the man pretty mutch all communication stoped on his end.
I not trying to have a pissing match on line either, I just want to be treated better as a customer.
In the industry I work in I have to deal with the most particular picky contractors, but I provide them a service. What they want they get, and I grin and bare it. That's why we keep the doors open and people pay more to use us.

The secret to happy customers is under promise and over deliver. If this guy said he would send pics along through the build process and has failed to do so, he's not over delivering.

There could be good reason that he hasn't done what he said he would do but if he can't communicate that either than his customers have right to be upset. When you get paid to do something and then don't do it, customers tend to get mad.

You should really call them though. They may not recognize what customer is texting them. Email and text communications can fail in ways that voice conversations won't.

Honestly.. had you waited and called him on a business day you may have gotten your bumper faster than you'll see a refund through Paypal.

remember to always call texts and emails may never get through besides that hearign a persons voice will allow you to tell if they really mean what they are saying.

Sometimes it takes a kick to get the little guys going. Most of them probably have more on their plate than they can handle. In my experience, most of them are terrible at communication. I prefer shopping at the mid-level guys now (JCR etc)... I have no problem waiting for a good product but it is not hard to keep your customers updated. Just got my brown dog motor brackets/mounts after a month. Did not bother me in the slightest because he sent me status emails along the way.

Hopefully I can get the winch and bumper mounted by this weekend. We got another snow storm on the way and I live about 15miels miles out of town. I tend to find a lot of people stuck.
