Default is this taking to long?

Ten days ago I ordered a winch bumper with a stinger from off-road armor. He told me they are built to order and it would be shipped out on Wednesday, he was also going to send me pics of two different stinger styles. At this point I have received no progress pics and last Monday he told me it was cut and ready to be welded.

At ten days am I jumping the gun by getting pissed off or should I contact PayPal and get my money back?

I would try talking to him again just to make sure things are ok.If no answer for days then i would hit up paypal about it.

Could be an internet or personal issue. Try contacting him and give him some time to respond.

I bought a ZJ winch bumper off eBay from LogansMetalFab out in PA in the last week of January. I purchased it on a Thursday, and they said they were experiencing bad weather and that it'd warm up enough the following week. Aside from spotty communication at times, the bumper showed up on Feb 13th. Although in their defense the weather was really bad. This was around the time Georgia and all them got hit with snow, so..


If they were hit recently with weather, give it some time.

Give it some time. Contact him again. I know the feeling, you've dumped hundreds of dollars on this thing. You feel on edge since you've taken a risk dropping that dough, who wouldn't. But good luck and report back.

I contacted him him mid week last week got the runaround. I sent him a text yesterday morning and no reply, so I contacted PayPal for a refund. Its killing me looking at my new winch in the box every day, it's begging for a bumper to sit on.

I personally think you jumped the gun a bit. You had 45 days to open a dispute with PayPal. However you were the one in contact with the vendor so you had a better grasp of the situation.

He told me it would be shipped by Wednesday, I asked for an up date saturday and was ignored. I'm not saying you don't but I work hard for my money, and when I purchase something I expect nothing but the best customer service. At this point I'm going to try and find a local fab shop.

Contact him and ask for a tracking number. I have had stuff mis-delivered to others and it was UPS's fault not the shippers.

Ten days ago you ordered a "built to order" bumper from somewhere that requires shipping and you're pissed because it's not at your door yet and it's only been five complete business days since you ordered?

You have to be ****ting me.
Drive to the nearest off road supply store and buy whatever bumper they have in stock if you can't wait more than five days for shipping.

I'm pissed about the lack of communication, I was told that I will get pics as it's built. I have got no updates no response to my questions. If the guy was on the level and let me know he was behind I would not have any issues. But to completely blow some one off that has paid you for a product is bull****. If you like getting **** on good fir you, but I don't stand for it.

I was texting his cell number that he gave me and he added me on fb, he did not have time to shoot me a text back but he had time to make posts on fb about how mutch he loves bacon. Just don't seem professional to me.
