From what I understand it keeps you from swerving all over the road . For off roaring its better to have disco on front so you can un hook it for more flex . But the rear one can just be takin out really no harm in that ,about 99% of us on here have no rear swaybar

It's up to you and what kind of wheelin your going to be doing. They really help on rock climbing and that kind of wheelin. Pretty reasonable prices on them too.

one of mine is missing front and rear swaybars...not a big deal. You get use to it. plus it is way more flexie than my other xj that still runs em. I drive 75 down the interstate. just gets some body roll on corners...

Grand cherokee (zj) models were produced from 93-99, it doesn't mater the year of the xj that it is being put on pre 96 or post 96. The whole swaybar question has been gone over countless times on this forum and it usually has people suggesting front sway bar disconnects and the removal of the rear, that is what I am suggesting. I do however have my front disconnected because I need flex on just about a daily basis and I have no rear. If you do a lot more driving than offroading than just get discos and don't worry about it. People will always say no don't take it off or ya do it because you don't need it so why not just choose the middle.
