Default A suggestion thread not about lifts...

Ok so basically i built this bas*** box and i recently put carpet on it...

Now i need to do something with the front of the drawers.

I'm looking to get suggestions about what would look good on this box cause i dont really want to paint the front of the drawers. Thanks!!

I my self would carpet the box (boat carpeting) to match the interior. And paint the drawer fronts Machine tool Grey, to match the trim. JMO!

how bout spray on bed liner, or plasti dip
are you going to secure it to the floor so it dosent become a missle in the event of a crash?

I was thinking about that but i didnt like the color that O Reilly's had. I didnt think about that color... Thanks!!

Its so big that if i crashed it couldnt make it up to me plus its too heavy i think... I think if it was gonna do bed liner i would do just flat black

dont fool yourself if that box weighs 75 lbs and you have a 5 g crash thats 375 lbs thats gonna come crashing thru the rear seat and take out u or passengers. in addition if you roll on the roof than hit something than theres no seats to slow it down.it would scare me. prepare for the worst and hope for the best

I agree... It should be secured somehow just in case... What should i do cause i dont have the little hook points in the back?

not sure without looking at it but maybe some angle iron into sides of box than thru floor of truck if you can get to the back side.(dont know if the gas tank is in your way) or secure some hooks to floor (again not sure bout gas tank) and use ratchet straps to hold it down,

yeah im thinking about finding the frame under the carpet and just using the angle iron...
