Cherokee Sport is a model of a Cherokee. Each model comes with certain standard options for the interior, like leather seats, overhead console, power windows and doors. A Cherokee SE is the base model with very limited options.

My 1st jeep was a 98 Classic & 2nd jeep 98 sport only difference was sport had cruise control. Power windows still worked in sport too window lock switch didn't give out yet.

That was a dumb question
My son just bought me a 1999 Cherokee Sport. The difference is that the Sports come with a much bigger back seat area. We take lots of long car rides in it, and short ones too. I love my Cherokee. Remember, mommy knows best.
