Nothing wrong with that either, dad had many station wagons when I was a kid. They're great to haul the whole family and misc junk with them.

I'm looking for an AMC Eagle 4x4 wagon atm, just a fixer upper to go with my XJ.
Those Eagles are fun! Buddy of mine had one in high school. All I can say is Eat your heart out Subaru!! We don't need turbos to go off-road.

I like 'em mostly stock too. I even kept my side molding. keeping stock fender flares, 31's on a 4 inch lift is just enough to look aggressive and not have to hack into my fenders which i am personally not a big fan of. gonna use a backbone system from detoursusa.com to retain the stock bumper look and still add a winch and some front recovery points, planning on welding some gussets into the stock bumper and capping the ends so its not just a piece of rolled steel, to add some rigidity front and back.

I have more respect for guys taking their stockers off road than lifted mall crawling queens. If you wheel your junk, you're aces in my book, stock or modified.

I tend to tick people off when I tell them "That is not a TRUCK" its a station wagon.
I'll never understand why people call them trucks... they aren't trucks, they're SUV's or I suppose cool station wagons. When your XJ can haul home a load of gravel, sheets of plywood, or a cut up car in the back of it (not on a trailer), feel free to call it a truck.

Caish- Sweet 2 door!
