What would be the best thing to cut'em with you think? Cut-off wheel? Kinda like the look of it

Tin snips or a body saw, you don't want anything too high speed or it will melt its way along instead of cut.

I'm not sure why no one has done a write up yet but if you take a set of older stock flairs you can swap them left and right and cut them to look almost like factory but up higher

Stock hight trimmed for clearance

Left and right stock fenders swaped and trimmed then moved up. See how they follow the body line on the lower part and there is no gap

If you cut them up like this there won't be a gap at the bottom edge

Where'd you cut the flare at to just swap sides? I don't want to move the whole flare up

Yea but the point of swaping them left and right is so you can mount them higher and not have gaps between the fender and body.

If you don't want to mount the flairs up higher just cut the front of the flairs and fender so it matches a 97+xj

Can you do this kind of cutting to a 97+ xj if you take out the fender liners?
