Hey guys!
I'm planning on replacing my rear leaf springs this summer. They are completely shot along with my shocks. My problem is I don't know if I should just replace them with stock leaf springs/shocks or something else. Im planning on doing some mild off roading but would like a soft ride b/c its my daily driver. Any suggestions on what I should do?
Thanks

It all boils down to what you want for height. If you are happy at stock height, then stay there. Most of the shorter (up to 3") lifts aren't going to have any real negative effect on ride quality, and some are an improvement. Mine has a 3" Trailmaster on it and it rides better now than it did stock.

If the rear leafs are shot the front coils are also and need to be replaced and all the shocks.
An excellent lift kit is from Rustys Off Road one if not the only one that has all American made leafs/coils not made in China. with his 3" full leaf/coil Kit you get all you need shocks, hardware, U-Bolts $438. The only extras to buy that's needed are a transfer case drop kit and an Adj. Track Bar.
I have been running the base kit for 4 yrs now and zero issues, it has a very good ride even using the stock shackles (proper length Leafs).

Although this gives the illusion that it's U.S.A.-made, they are actually in the same boat as BDS Suspension and many other manufacturers. They make their springs in Canada and shocks in Mexico, I believe. Nothing is actually U.S.A.-made. It might not be made in China like Rough Country, but to my opinion, still not U.S.A.-made.
Even Rough Country's new N 2.0 shocks are made in Mexico now. It's just the springs that are Chinese now.
