I said I'd be back.
Here I am. After a long hiatus from the forum.

What has happened since I was last here:

Picked up a sweet 99 WJ Grand Cherokee, modded it and made several neat projects along the way.

As of 3 years ago, I am a single guy.
I got tired of the wife's hoarding problem. I got rid of her and the HUGE mess.

Gave WJ to niece and two months later the 4.7L V8 spun a bearing.
Hauled away to crusher after cannibalizing as much as I could.

Built a rear bumper and tire swing for my beloved Lil Red.
Bought and welded up a JCR front winch bumper.
Bought a Q9000 winch from Quadratech and used it successfully several times.

Rebuilt and redesigned tire-swing.

Currently working on going doorless.

I will upload some pics as soon as I can get around to taking some.

Nice to be back.

Using the TRE's is genius!

 

The tire is mounted on the swing using the hub from the front axle.
A used one of course with the bearing removed.
