Default Sterio Wiring

I have a Pioneer DEH-1600 CD Player. I need to know how to wire the stereo in my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo without a wiring harness. I am a new Jeep owner and are broke. Please help me.

Please clarify, the jeep does not have a radio wiring harness, Or you do not have the adapter harness to install radio?
For about $8 you can get a plug that will connect to the factory plug for radio. The other ends are bare wires to connect to any aftermarket radio.
Also, there are websites that have the colors and functions of the factory wiring harness. I can find it for you once we figure out the above details.

I do not have the adaptor wiring harness. I can't even afford $8.

In that case, the factory plug will have to be cut off and all the wires connected directly to radio. I have done this but it is no fun and then the jeep has a hacked harness.
Or, sell the radio.

That's what I'm trying to do, wire the radio directly. Was just wanting to see if anyone knew what colors go to what.
