Default Stainless headers? A poll

I know there are some stainless headers available on ebay, made in China and probably kinda crappy. I am toying with the idea of offering headers made right here in the US, out of good metal and properly welded. This is a feeler to see if there is any interest in such a thing....I would have the flanges waterjetted from stainless, and fit up the headers with mandrel bent stainless tubing. Also I would need some test Jeeps, I would give you a set at cost to get the fit-up for 91-up Jeeps.

My questions are :

1. Will the quality be that of Borla, or Banks ?
2. What grade steel will you be using ?
3. How thick will the wall be ?
4. How thick will the flange be?
5. Mig or Tig welded ?
6. How much will it Cost ?
7. Will there be a Warranty ?
8. What would be the Lead times ?

If I was going to do the work (and cost) I would be using a good reputable brand like Borla, or Banks.

5. Mig or Tig welded ?>aerospace-grade TIG

8. What would be the Lead times ?>first couple will take me awhile. Hopefully I would get faster once I do a couple and know my cuts and fits.
All good questions. Just trying to figure out if it makes any sense financially, since you can buy chinese for so cheap....although the ones i see on ebay aren't very pretty. If your Cherokee is like pretty much all of them in the 90's the stock header has cracked, will crack, and is a pain to repair. So stainless is definitely and improvement. Here's a question: What would folks be willing to pay for a quality product? Still cheaper than Borla

Message for the mods: if this needs to be in a different category, that's fine. However, I sort of regard it as a project underway since I will be building some headers one way or another.
