Default Specs for front bumper?

Anyone have the dimension i need to make my bumper mounts and how far wide i should put em on the bumper to line up with frame, thanks

make these

or buy them... http://www.ajsoffroadarmor.com/produ...cat=256&page=1 bolt them up with a few bolts each, then build your bumper off of them, then they'll be right where they need to be.

^^ Have you actually used those dimensions? If you did (and if they actually were correct), that would be very helpful for my next bumper build haha

Outside of the unibody frame rails are 33" apart on our xj's

Confirmed working by many different year XJ owners...however i'd advise making a cardboard template and checking first.

THANK YOU! that was the one i WAS looking for, I was posting the picture as more of a "do it like this" then actual spot on measurement, AND yes always do it with cardboard/cereal box first...

Just decide what size bolts you're gonna use then go from there.

so on that diagram im assuming that when it gives the numbers like 17.000 that measurement is in inches correct?
