Default Snow Plows??

I'm having issues trying to find a plow set up for a 98 and 99 cherokee. I talked to one person and he said they don't make them for the XJ's for those years. I'm looking for either a western set up or Fisher set up. I dont want a meyers because i'm sick of there pump set ups and them always freezing.

Thanks.

XJ is not the best setup for a plow w/o major mods, best to stick to a 1/2 or 3/4 ton pickup.

Interesting since i always see wranglers with plows and people love them in the winter. I have a 1/2 ton Ram thats getting a plow. But we were thinking of getting a nice 6.5 foot for one of the cherokees to do some small family members driveways.

Wranglers are not unibody construction, unlike an XJ.

I ran an old CJ with a plow (the rig belonged to a friend). In fact it was one of those somewhat rare ones with the weird American flag designs all over it.

It (like Wranglers) had a full frame, & a fairly small plow.

That thing worked pretty well, although I wouldn't try driving it at freeway speeds.

I've always wondered how an XJ would do...
