side moldings
well i guess its not letting me post in the write up section for some reason but here you go.
I took a little sequence of pics the other day when painting my side moldings wasnt to hard and took about total 3 hours between two days. Make sure the surface is good and clean and when your ready and shoot

Nice! I personally prefer the "black plastic treatments" all of my molding was chalky white and then I was handed some "3200 black" with a sponge applicator. I use this stuff on EVERYTHING. Once it dries, its black, its not coming off, and takes scratches like its a new piece.
still I think that looks great, especially since you have factory painted flares.

paint job did come out very nice... let us know how it's holding up in a couple weeks...
but I have to agree with 'e30' I'd just take them off, looks way better, but maybe with a black XJ it is fine

What do u guys think I should do to mine? Some people tell me to paint the side molding white and others tell me to take them off, but I want to hear from smart people like u.
Personally, I just want to paint them so that they look brand new...not a shiny black but some dark charcoal color. How could I do that?
