Can someone tell me what year YJ, TJ, XJ's i can put a "01" xj 4.0and trans into thanks so muc. Oh im also looking for abody for this motor and trans to live in thank a 1,000,000

 

explain a bit more. you have a wrecked 01 XJ and you're trying to put the drivetrain into something else?

 

yea i'm lost on this one too.

 

anything 01 or older (most states have a motor swap law that the motor must be the same age or newer then the vehicle its going into)

 

thanks everyone for there help yeah sorry it was pretty openended so to close it up abit i have the complete 01 here i put it all back togathere after an accident 5yrs , so i sent it to the body shop to have them put the hood on and i get the news that the axle and frame are done so i want to take everything (motor trans transfer case ) out and do a direct bolt in or as close as possible to any 3 yj tj xj with as little work as possible so thats it in a nut shell thanks again folks
