Default Side Molding

I just bought a 2009 grand cherokee laredo and it has the black side molding strips on each side. I dont want the chrome strips but instead, I want to get them painted the same color as the car. Does anyone know if the rubber strips are able to be painted? Thanks

Sand, prime and paint. It should stick.

Yeah, there shouldn't be a problem. My 1999 Cherokee Classic has the moulding painted the same color as the rest of the Jeep.

You would'nt happen to know how to get the adhesive residue off would you, I've tried everything short of sand blasting and dynamite

I agree with the sand prime and paint thing.

I also have a question, does anyone know how many quarts of oil to use in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4x4? Is it 4 or 5? I am not sure. Thanks.

Wow, what a hijack...

Its 5 but that couldve easily been found out by reading the FAQ or the Cherokee stock specs threads. Take some time and read that info to keep threads from being cluttered with off-the-wall questions and people like me telling you where to look when you see the same things I do LOL...
