A jeep will not handle like your Honda. Your going from a independent suspension with rack and pinion to a straight axle Suv with a steering box and linkage. Your jeep will hit 90, but will require some steering wheel input to keep it straight. And assuming ur a motorcycle rider based on your handle, its like a hog and a crotch rocket. Both can do the speed, but one is a little more comfortable at higher speed than the other. If you want a jeep that will do 90 comfortably, and handle a bit better keep the Honda, and look into a Liberty. You can fit a 31" tire on with a 2 inch lift. Now since it is a independent suspension with rack and pinion, it will track better at higher speeds. However, max lift is 2.5 inches, otherwise modified cv shafts and upper a arms. Mine does over 100 miles 4 days. a week commuting to school. And whether its rt15, 80, 287, or 24, it cranks out 90+ without complaint. For what it sounds like you need in a daily vehicle, I would not trade the Honda. If you want a jeep, and still want that capability, look into a 02+ liberty. I'm not trying to be a ball buster, but being a tuner guy as well, I truly feel the xj is not the best trade for your needs at this time. Just my .02

It will help to stop sliding, but 4 wheel drive does not mean 4 wheel stop.
If your commute is only 20 miles, mpg should not be that big of an issue for you
And I agree, just trade already! lol. You don't know what your missing.
