Torn between the APN manifold... Or an AM $80 OEM stainless manifold. I've been doing the research and have heard mixed reviews about the APN style exhaust. It's heavier duty, however the performance gains are nothing to brag about over the OEM manifold.
Any suggestions?

Is there a warranty on that OEM one? I know the APN have a lifetime warranty (one benefit). And the design of the APN are far less prone to cracking that the OEM manifold. I'll say that when I changed out my OEM manifold for the APN headers, there was definitely an increase in power but it wasn't a HUGE increase per say. But my OEM ones had a crack that probably contributed to that.

I've got a rather large crack in my stock manifold. It's wrapping almost around the entire pipe. I think it's also killing my performace/MPG. Just feels like it's running really rich now.
My cat lost it's heat shields on the highway, rotted right off. Gone in the wind. Also has a hole rusted through the top of it, before the downstream o2 sensor.
Muffler is pretty much useless. Good for making really loud noise.
The Down pipe and tail pipe, are the only ones not damaged. So I'll leave them for now.
I intend to upgrade to a K&N drop in filter, and been in the works for some 703 injectors. If that helps.

Pulled the trigger on the ATP manifold. It's listed on Amazon for $142.00, with free shipping. I chose this as an in-between manifold. Same overall design as the APN, and better quality than what's found on ebay.
It's made from a 409 stainless steel. The APN is made 321. Not going into details. I'll just say it's only slightly inferior to the 321 SS, and $40 cheaper. I will be putting on new motor mounts along with it. I'll let you all know how it works out.
