Default Should I chance it?

I have a queer looking pinstripe around my rig. I wanted to know if anyone has ever peeled it off? If so was the paint faded? I want to peel it off but I don't want to chance having pinstripe tan on my paint.

I would imagine the paint behind the pinstripe would be fine, the paint around it however might be faded...

If you do want to remove it I would suggest you use a heat gun or a hair dryer.

Here is what you need. You'll need a drill and an eraser pad like what I have. I bought it off the mac tool truck when he came to my job. But I imagine you could find it elsewhere. Takes the pinstripes right off with ease and doesn't harm the finish. It even took off some of the blemishes on my paint. When your done and satisfied you just need to go back with a rag and wipe the debris off. It gets pretty messy bc the disc is rubber. But it works like a charm.

It will also take off residue and glue from when you take off the door moldings or badges

Definitely do not try and peel it. The method I mentioned is so easy a caveman could do it. Lol. The eraser was 15 bucks. I did the whole truck all pinstripes and all the door mouldings/door badges. And I still have a good chunk left for some else else down the road if I ever was to need it again.

I have to get me a car eraser.

Just the four "JEEP" letters on the rear made my fingers hurt for 2 days.
