Whats the dif with normal shocks and the nitro ones? opinions?

 

I have heard that they improve ride qaulity a bit, but unless your planning on lifting it I prob wouldnt buy shocks unless yours are just done for. But if you are planning on lifting it any decent lift kit should come with new shocks.

"Normal shocks" are stock height and if your running a lift they will bottom out easy. I have nitros in my jeep and they are good for 4.5 to 6.5 inches of lift. They also are more of a softer shock i think. Smoother in the trails to

 

Dont go with Trailmaster...just sayin you get what you pay for.

 

I got the skyjacker nitros and they are great shocks. Trailmaster not so much lol
