Default shocks?

Im going to be replacing my shocks here soon cuz the previous owner left stock shocks on it with a 3" lift. I was wanting ur opinions on what kind to go with? I wan thinking skyjacker or ranch but not sure yet.

Skyjackers are over priced... They are just popular for the name. Check out rough country and pro comp shocks. You can get the best bang for your buck. Just depends on what u want to spend really. I have had touch country on all mine and love them all. They had huge bores and are really strong Atleast in my experience. My car spends more time on road than off road though. Hope this helps!

I bought shocks from Zone Offroad. The nitro ones. They arent too expensive but not the cheapest and are pretty good. I too was coming from a 3" with stock shocks.

I have no complaints with them.

I've been told that all "white value" shocks are the same, and it makes sense. I bought zone hyrdo shocks for my 2in lift. Love the shocks, although mine were beyond shot when i replaced them.

I'm running rancho shocks. They were on the Jeep when I bought it. Seems like a good ride to me but I can't compare it to a stock ride, I've never driven a stock XJ.
