Default Shims vs Tc drop

Which one is more effective on eliminating driveline vibrations, and which is less desturcutive to the vehicle. Pros an Cons of each. Which you would suggest.
For example I was told a TC drop would hasten the deterioration of motor mounts...

i mean u can try a 6 degree shim but not guarantees. Even if it doesn't work it'll be good to have when u get the sye and custom dv.

find a decent company on ebay for ur sye.. you can find one with free shipping and under 200.. then a lot of the same companies offer a custom dv after you've put ur sye in and ask for a measurement

What about doing a combination of tc drop and shims? I have the material to build either 1/2 or 3/4 drop and 3-4 degree shims.....Should been less strain on the motor mounts and correct pinion angle without spending a dollar, just a few hours work.

I don't plan on going over 3-4 inches of lift anytime soon and don't really have the funds for a sye and shaft....

This.
Im installing a 3inch lift and keeping it there... no plans for higher height and no money for an sye.
I was just wondering the pros and cons of each... both are pita to install.
I already have a TC drop, but before I install I was thinking it might be more condusive to install shims....
